FAQ

What materials are used to make your tote bags?

Our bags are constructed using high-quality materials including natural cork, chrome-tanned vegan cowhide, pigskin leather, resin handles, and 100% cotton fabrics. Specific material breakdown for each design is listed on its individual product page.

How should I clean and care for my handcrafted bag?

For leather and cork accents, spot clean gently with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid submerging resin handles, leather, and cork. For cotton interiors, spot cleaning is recommended to preserve structural integrity.

Are your tote bags one-of-a-kind or batch produced?

Many of our bags feature unique trapunto appliqués, specialty fancy stitching, or limited fabrics, making them unique or limited run. If a specific style sells out, restocking is difficult due to material availability, and it is difficult to reproduce a handcrafted bag.

Do you accept custom orders or personalization requests?

We do not offer custom orders, color variations, or personalized modifications. Each item is individually handcrafted or curated as a unique finished creation to ensure the highest standard of artistic quality and detail. Once a design is completed, it is one-of-a-kind and ready to ship.

What condition are the antique items in?

All antique and vintage pieces — including historical ceramics, export earthenware, and metal decor — are pre-loved. We document condition details meticulously, noting minor wear, age-related patina, or character marks in both item descriptions and high-resolution photographs.

How do I know an antique item is authentic?

We carefully research maker marks, signatures, age indicators, and provenance before listing any item. Feel free to reach out if you have specific questions about a piece's origin or history prior to purchasing.

How do you package fragile vintage items for shipping?

Delicate ceramics and metalwork are packed with heavy-duty bubble cushioning and custom internal bracing to ensure safe travel.
